集体名词
1. 单形集体名词被看作一个整体时，它具有单数概念。如：
This group wins the first prize. 这个小组获得了一等奖。
2. 单形集体名词被看作若干个体时，它具有复数概念。如：
The class are waiting to enter into the cinema.全班同学正在等着进入电影院。
3. 集体名词表示多个集体时，也有规则的复数形式。如：
There are more than 50 classes in the school.这个学校有 50 多个班级。
复合名词
复合名词的复数形式有三种情况：
1. 将最后一部分变为复数。如：breakfast—breakfasts 早饭 afternoon-afternoons 下午
2. 将主要部分变为复数。如：
passer-by—passers-by 过路人 mother-in-law—mothers-in-law 岳母
3. 由 man 或 woman 作为第一部分的复合名词，将两个部分都变为复数。如：
man doctor—men doctors 男医生 woman cook—women cooks 女厨师
