telegraph n.电报机；发电报 vt.给某人发电报
[根]tele-表示“远”，比如telephone就是跟远处的人说话要用到的设备。似“他（te）离（le）”，他离开了，去了远方。
[记]给远方（tele）的人写（graph）信，在没有电子邮件之前最便捷的方法就是发电报（tele-graph），用电报机（telegraph）打字。
[变] telegram n.电报（的文字本身）
[辨]telegraph和telegram谁是电报机，谁是电报呢？要看它们俩的词尾。-ph发音似“服”，所以服务于电报的是电报机；而-m可以想成“秘密”，发出去的秘密是电报文字本身。
[例]0ne hundred years ago, when people had emergency and they wanted to tell their friends, the rich would choose to send message by telegraph, though the telegram had a limitation ofwords. 一百年前，当人们有紧急情况要告诉朋友时，富人会选择发电报。尽管电报本身是有字数限制的。

[记]pro-往前：gram-写。计划就是要往前写以后的事。计划要有一个大纲；电视的大纲就是节目；电脑系统的计划就是它的程序；这些都是被编排、安排好的。
