四川大学锦江学院是经国家教育部批准、由四川大学举办的全日制普通本科高等学校。
学院由四川大学面向全球公开招聘的副校长、美国印第安纳州立大学终身教授和杰出教授陈爱民博士任院长。其全球视野、全新理念以及与国际教育水准接轨的举措，正引领学院向“全国一流独立学院，中国式的小常青藤”目标迈进。

About the College
Sichuan University Jinjiang College is a private four-year college sanctioned by China’s Education Ministry. It is affiliated with Sichuan University, a key research university directly under the administration of China’s Education Ministry. 45 kilometers from Chengdu, the College is located in Sichuan Province’s Pengshan County which boasts beautiful scenery and a legend of longevity. Covering an area of 700 mu (15 mu equals one hectare) with a planned floor space of 380,000 square meters, the College has modern classrooms, laboratories, libraries, lecture halls, sporting facilities, and a scenic campus environment suitable for higher learning.
With a predominant emphasis on teaching, Jinjiang College currently consists of nine departments: Economics, Foreign Languages, Literature and Communications, Management and Business Administration, Arts, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics and Information Science, and Architecture and Civil Engineering. Students nation-wide can choose from the 23 majors currently available. Moreover, the College is devoted to globalizing its campus, aiming to provide students with opportunities to study abroad via such programs as “4+1” and/or “4+2” with international partner institutions of higher education. |
