Job description:
Duties & Responsibilities: philosophical research in the above fields; undergraduate and/or graduate teaching (The teaching load is three courses per year); proof-reading of colleagues’ English papers.
Position Qualifications: Ph.D. in Philosophy or related fields, strong research background and potential.
Salary and Benefits: 150,000 RMB to 300,000 RMB per year. An apartment adjacent to the campus could be provided with subsidized rent. A start-up grant will be offered, in addition to the standard benefits for faculty of Peking University, such as medical insurance, schooling for children, etc.
Term Review and Renewal: The first contract is for three years. After the first three-year term, the appointee may request a renewal of the contract or a promotion to the rank of associate professor or professor.
